We also like the location for travelers who prefer a quieter setting. You’ll be close to the Carapitangui River and the beach, in a more peaceful area than the village center, while still having relatively easy access to Barra Grande.

That’s also the main trade-off: this isn’t the best choice if you want to step outside your pousada and immediately be in the center of the village. For travelers with a car, those who are happy to take a taxi when needed, or anyone who doesn’t mind a 15–20 minute walk, we think the combination of a great pool, spacious rooms, cleanliness and attentive service offers very good value for money.
